With the semester coming to a close and lots of us getting busy as we get ready to depart for summer, I've decided to take a break from this blog for a few months. I've never consistently kept up with and written a blog like this before, and it's been such a fun opportunity to share the kinds of creative and fun things we do at The PITCH! The crazy thing is, this is only a sliver of what we do, and I'd love to hop back on here and there and update you on our other ventures!
Despite this break, we'll still be at The PITCH jamming out, working on new start-ups, hosting pop-up events and selling fun drinks and snacks, etc. Since this blog has been centered around music since it's origin, I'll keep it going in this post. Below is a video we snagged after one of our Open Mic nights where we decided to have an impromptu acoustic jam session:

Here's Kyle from our previous post -- he prides himself on being able to play the infamous "mouth trumpet" and we always get a kick out of it because it seems silly but sounds so realistic:

If you want to be a part of a creative, entrepreneurial group of people who are always open to doing things differently and pushing the status quo, this is the place to be. We'll have limited hours in our coffee shop this summer, but we'll probably be doing once weekly pop-ups since we have less staff and expect the foot traffic on Franklin Street to greatly decrease. For example, "Flight Nights" on Thursdays, where we create flights of espresso martinis, affogatos (espresso and ice cream... yum!), or even slushees, you name it! Bottom line, we're not going anywhere.
You can DM us at @thepitchchapelhill or email us at contact@thepitchchapelhill.com to get involved!
